“What can cause left-sided chest pain while breathing?”
I have been suffering from a severe cough along with indigestion for the last 3 days. I am also feeling chest pain on my left side, particularly when I breathe heavy. What could be the cause for this chest pain?

Hello, causes can be increased acid production causing indigestion and cough and chest pain. It can be muscular as it's coming with heavy breathing. Those are the only 2 options i can think of...
Sounds like pleurisy, a condition where an inflammation of the lung parenchyma causes adhesion with the outer wall of the lung cavity. This can resolve with the cough or may take several weeks. I recommend getting a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia or a more serious condition.
