“Can lupus make me blind?”
I have been diagnosed with lupus and I have read that it can also impact one's eyesight over time. Is it really true?

Lupus is a serious autoimmune disease which can affect your vision. It does cause dryness in the eyes and can cause damage of the optic nerve. Make sure you don't skip your annual eye exam.
For sure not if you keep your lupus under reasonable control and follow your rheumatologist orders. Meanwhile see your ophthalmologist at least once a year.
It is unlikely lupus will make you blind but it can cause various eye problems which should be looked at and treated if/when they occur. See your eye doctor regularly.
