“My son does not seem to be growing at the same rate as his classmates”
Even though my husband and I are both taller than average, our 6 year old son is not growing at the same rate as his classmates. He is always the smallest and shortest child in class. What could be the reasons for this?

Endocronologist(Pediatric)Pediatrics
Could be a medical condition and would require a careful work up. It could also be normal. Read about constitutional growth delay. It’s a normal variant of growth (aka “late bloomer syndrome”).
There are several reasons for a kid to have low growth rate. He deserves to be seen by an endocrinologist to have a complete evaluation
