Pain Everywhere?

Hello, my name is Matt and I have a variety of medical conditions. I had pulmonary surgery in January of this year. I had double pneumonia which left excessive fluid in my chest. During the operation, they removed almost my entire right lung because the abscess was so bad. Now because of this coronavirus and my lung condition I am considered vulnerable. Right now I have torn knee cartilage and tendon damage which needs surgical attention but my family doctor had me postpone the surgery. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise because I am experiencing pain in my shoulders, arms, neck, and almost all of my joints. I explained that to my surgeon and family doctor but they believe it is referred pain. I think I may have something serious going on. I know doctors don't like being told what to do by their patients so I will not dare to suggest my opinion of my condition.

So my question to you is: Do you think I should go to the emergency room and explain my situation to them? Or do you think I should get a second opinion of anybody who will see me? I feel like I'm being discriminated against because over the last 5 months I have been receiving methadone treatment for an addiction to opiate medications. I'm not sure if that is the case but if you have any suggestions for me where to turn to I would appreciate it.

I would not go to the Emergency Room. The doctors won't know you. I would recommend discussing with your primary care doctor or a primary lung doctor.
