Physical Therapist Questions Chronic Sinusitis

Is there any physical therapy for preventing sinusitis infections?

I keep getting sinusitis infections once every other month or so. Can I try some physical therapy or yoga to prevent this infection from recurring?

Dry needling will help with this. Please contact your physician for a PT order.
I have no knowledge of any studies or literature reviews to support Physical Therapy in prevention of sinusitis. Good luck.
Yes, PT, yoga, acupuncture, massage.
It definitely doesn't hurt to try. Musculoskeletal restrictions can play a large part in the struggles of some people's sinus flows. You may be experiencing a spinal instability that is affecting your freedom of movement through the cervical spine. This can create a kinematic chain reaction that has affected some of my patient's sinuses. But, this is only speculation. I would highly recommend a physical therapy evaluation.
