My mom was in nursing home because we couldn't take care of her properly, at that time. Now, she's home because my brother realized that she was getting bed sores while at the nursing home. How can we prevent bed sores for her?

There are many measures that could be simple and able to prevent the pressure ulcers (bed sores) for significant amount of time. Most simple thing that you could do is to change her sides every 1.5 to 2 hours. There are barrier creams available over the counter that could be applied to high pressure areas. You may also want to talk to her provider and she may be able to qualify for home health or hospice. This way you may be able to get specialist guidance at home on how to care for your mother.
