Is prp mesotherapy the best way to get rid of acne? I've had acne for as long as I can remember. I recently went to a clinic and they recommended prp mesotherapy, should i go ahead?

PRP is not a FDA approved treatment for acne. More research is still needed with PRP as a newer procedure.
Traditional therapies are still effective. However you may need to trial a variety of therapies or oral medications for maximum results over a given time. This is still the safest, approved, and most effective therapy along with lifestyle choices that can help maintain acne. Regular follow ups with your dermatologist are vital to success.
I would not recommend PRP for acne. If you are more concerned about scarring, it may help, but there is not enough data to recommend it.

No. I would seek a second opinion
No. There is no scientific evidence for this. Acne has many causes. It could be related to your menstrual cycle. It can be an overgrowth of p. Acnes.
Prp can be used for hair loss and collagen rejuvenation.
There are Acne therapies that are backed by scientific studies.
These include Retinoids, Benzyl periods, oral and topical antibiotics, Accutane.
There is some evidence that leader therapy can be effective.
For women we use hormonal therapy.
These methods of treatment should be tried first.
