It is on my ankle and is a redish purple color it hurts and itches like crazy and makes my ankle and foot swollen

Hello there! There are many causes for rashes on the legs, from inflammation such as a contact dermatitis to blood vessel issue. I recommend see a physician that can evaluate and if needed biopsy and diagnose this rash!
