I am a 30 year old male. I want to know if I should brush a broken tooth?

Yes. You should brush a broken tooth if it is going to be a while before you get it fixed. Broken teeth usually have lost the enamel and a portion of the core of the tooth. If a cavity sets in it can spread quickly through the remaining softer core of the tooth and cause an infection. Definitely fix the broken tooth as soon as you can to prevent this as well as further breakage and potential loss of the tooth. -Dr. Bishop
