“Should car accident victims have plastic surgery?”
I was recently in a serious car accident and my face was also significantly injured. It really changed my appearance (I have several scars) and I'm not comfortable in my own skin. Should I consider reconstructive surgery?

You certainly should make an appointment with a Board Certified plastic surgeon who has a good reputation in your area. He/she will be able to give you an honest opinion about your options and reasonable expectations. Scars cannot be erased but often can be significantly improved with surgery and above all, time.
