Okay . you can rest after acupuncture .
Yes. 24hr low-impact activity.
If you feel tired rest.
Strenuous activity should be avoided but you do not have to cancel your afternoon.
Not necessarily
Yes, resting after a treatment allows the acupuncture to continue to work.
Absolutely yes.
Hello,

I usually encourage my clients to take it slow after an acupuncture session.

If you feel tired. Otherwise, it's fine to carry on business as usual.
I think it is best to do so, yes. Some people may feel energetic after treatment and do too much, whether it be work, clean, exercise, etc. If you really want to see how you do with acupuncture, take the time to listen to your body and rest. It doesn't have to be all day. I would just suggest to carry on with your daily activities unless they are too taxing. Don't go above and beyond such as heavy lifting or excessive exercise. It would be best if you allow yourself to rest immediately after treatment. Good luck!!!
Yes.... you should refrain from exercise or exertion at least 1 - 2 hours after an acupuncture treatment.
Yes! I definitely recommend patients to rest and drink plenty of fluids after acupuncture! You would get more benefits out from the treatment as opposed to not resting after treatment.
Resting can be quite lovely, but isn't required. Often, people get really relaxed and feel a bit tired because of it.
Yes. Take advantage of the relaxed state that your body resets into after an acupuncture treatment. Although you may feel refreshed and ready to go, your body just worked hard rebalancing. Get a good night sleep, take an easy walk and breathe fresh air, eat moderately the best quality whole food you can afford, and drink hot tea. By doing these things you are
reinforcing the healing process.
You should take a rest for at least 20 minutes to 1 hour after acupuncture treatment.

It is usually recommended to try and avoid performing any rigorous activity after receiving acupuncture, especially if it is your first time. You may return to your daily life, but try to avoid anything very strenuous. Be sure to hydrate well and eat nourishing meals that day. We just want to be sure you are able to recover well.
It is preferible to take it easy that day!
If you can have a rest after acupuncture treatment, it’s great!
You can continue witty your day normally , however, if You have any PT, Message, or planing to work out that day we recommend that your acupuncture treatments would be the Last, that will help the body to focus on the the treatment, and will give the chance for the treatment to do its job without any interference
I hope this was helpful.
Yes, it is best to rest so that the body can continue the healing process which continues for a couple of days.
Thank you for your inquiry. Most people can resume their normal day of activities, often feeling more relaxed and at ease. However, I do notice clinically that most people have a great night of sleep the day they have acupuncture and wake the next day more energized.
I hope this is helpful,

Yes rest is always helpful after acupuncture and helps to restore the body. It's important to stay hydrated after acupuncture because it can cause toxins to be released into your system.
Good question for the medical provider your treating with at this time.

Some patients I want to go for a walk afterwards, other to the Gymn and other to Rest.....again, great question though varies based on the type of treatment and outcome goals and experience the provider physician your working with....22 yrs experience here.

Acupuncture can be sedative. Yes, don't do any aggressive sports or work that needs a sharp concentration right away.
You should definitely rest and drink a lot of water after an acupuncture treatment.

Hello! Yes, it is recommended the patients rest for up to 48 hours after an acupuncture treatment.
After taking off needles, you should still rest on the table for 3 more minutes because the body system still works with the treatment.
You should be done if you are tired after. If you are energized after you can be active. If you're hungry after eat. You should follow what your body dictates.
Definitely. You may leave some acupuncture treatments feeling fatigued, which is normal. But even if you don't, it's good to let your body relax and absorb the treatment you've just received.
Normally one feels very at easy, very calm after an Acupuncture treatment. You don't have to rest after treatment.

Be well, be confident, we can help.
You don't necessarily have to rest after an acupuncture treatment. I normally advise my patients just to go about the rest of their day as usual.

Acupuncture can sometimes induce fatigue. If you feel like resting and have the time, taking a short nap isn't going to hurt anything. If you find you're constantly fatigued after an acupuncture treatment, you might try eating a small meal either just before or just after treatment.
