Hematologist (Blood Specialist) Questions Hematologist

Splenomelagy and temperature?

Hello, a month ago, the temperature began to periodically rise and my head hurt. Symptoms of ARVI were not. Sweating at night, the temperature rises in the evening, from 36.8 to 37.6. (Now 37.4) Two weeks later, I felt the discomfort of the Submandibular fissures. On an ultrasound scan, the doctor found a 3mm increase and said it was tonsillitis. I exhaled, but after some time I felt a squeezing in the left abdomen. Starting to suspect leukemia, he passed the KLA. The results calmed me and guarded me). I went to see an oncologist (there were no hematologists), he began to suspect lymphoma, examined all peripheral lymph nodes, and did not reveal a single apparently enlarged one. Around this time, I began to notice a mild itching throughout the body (still present). The doctor prescribed biochemistry and ultrasound of the abdominal cavity. Biochemistry has not yet arrived, ultrasound, splenomelagia, and liver enlargement. The doctor, in view of the lack of an increase in per. Lymph nodes said to do a chest x-ray. The radiologist, before the picture, said that it is extremely difficult to detect an increase in lymph nodes on an x-ray, CT should be done.

I still took the picture. After the picture, the doctor said that he was not sure of the vascular expansion of the roots of the lungs in view of the weak diagnostic factor of x-rays. After the study, the oncologist prescribed CT, although he doubted the lymphoma (Despite my complaints about the temperature the first time, he believed me only the day before yesterday when he checked). CT pending. (Two weeks later) I want to ask you some questions and get advice. Do you see hematological/oncohematological pathology in my symptoms and research results, and if you see, then what is likely? (If not, which specialist should I contact?) Should I turn to a hematologist for a consultation, and how much urgently? Does a blood test need to be repeated? If CT is normal, is there any chance of hematological pathology? What kind of research do I need to do (if necessary) Thank you in advance.

Test results - general blood test - normal (microscopy) deviations: segmented neutrophils 78; lymphocytes 12.

ultrasound of the abdominal cavity - spleen - 13.6 x 8, liver 15.5.

chest x-ray - expansion of the roots of the lungs, structural

sorry if the written is not clear. I am from another country, I don’t know the language, I use a translator.

I can clearly understand your question. There is a mild temperature elevation with only splenomegaly and hepatomegaly seen on the CT scan. This is not clearly indicative of an infection or lymphoma. I would continue to follow up with your primary physician and see the oncologist if there are new signs of a possible hematologist problem.
