Swollen Joints

Since I have been in lockdown my joints have become very stiff even though I walk every day, today I have noticed that my knees have become very swollen and very painful not when I walk only on standing and sitting should I keep walking or rest up.

Keep walking
The most likely cause is worsening of osteoarthritis in your knees. Ice, heat, over-the-counter analgesics combined with gradual increase in exercise. In general, knees like to move without much pounding so bicycling or swimming are best if possible. Walking on forgiving surfaces is okay, too. If your knees continue to bother you, an orthopedic surgeon could certainly help.

Good luck,

I can’t say for sure why your knees are swollen like that It might be arthritis. Walking should be fine
Swollen joints could be from inflammatory condition or infection. You should see a doctor at a nearest urgent care or ER.
Walking should be okay. Also, add cycling. Try ibuprofen three times a day.
