“What are the symptoms of the flu with children?”
My daughter came back from school sniffing her nose. Within about 3 hours she had extremely high fever. The doctor suggested Motrin for it to go down for the next two days, but I'm worried that this could easily be the flu since it's that time of year and she hasn't received her shot yet. What are some of the symptoms that I need to look out for?

Quite possible flu-like all viral infections cause fever with congestion, nose, throat, and pain all over the body. She should be tested for flu and treated as soon as possible with Tammie if the test comes out positive.
Runny nose and cough along with fever, they also have body aches. Since your child is only 2.5 years old, he may just be inactive. Kids with flu look sick.
Flu usually has fever, ache muscles, tired, sometimes sore throat, mild cough, stomach ache, vomiting.
