Treating genital warts while pregnant?

I am 6 months pregnant and I have genital warts. How do I treat genital warts while pregnant?

Treatment may depend on how severity and its location. There are various options- medical and surgical and your doc will discuss these options with you. On occasion your OB may recommend treatment after delivery if it may not pose any danger during the pregnancy as well as to the fetus during delivery. Sometimes your OB will recommend cesarean delivery again depending on the locations of the warts.
During pregnancy I prefer to use TCA (an acid applied to the wart). It acts locally and will cure most small warts. The disadvantage is that it is applied weekly until gone.
Please do not self treat, talk to your OBGyn. Have a safe pregnancy!
