“Would a USG help in understanding the cause of my lower abdomen pain?”
I am suffering from severe pain in my lower abdomen for the last two days. Should I go for a USG to understand the main cause of this pain?

I need your age and sex. Plus, I've never heard of a USG, in general a female of child bearing years or younger US of the pelvis would be better than CT. In males older than 35, CT abd and pelvis is better.
I’m assuming you are referring to ultrasound. If you’re a woman, this might be a good choice. If you’re a man, you may want to defer to CT scan.
