Hello,

Thank you for your question. Yes, physiatry can help with aches and pains all over your body. Generally, a physiatrist may use exercise, sleep, diet, and mindset to help you get as functional as possible, as quickly as possible, as long-lasting as possible, with as much respect as possible for your time, energy, money and hope, while helping minimize unnecessary medications, imaging or procedures and looking at your health in a holistic manner, and coordinating care with other providers. In the case of aches and pains all over the body, a physiatrist may be concerned for conditions such as fibromyalgia, and coordinate care/refer you for consultation with a rheumatologist, to see if there is a systemic inflammatory condition, or other rheumatological explanation for these symptoms.

Best wishes!
Possibly. At least you can get worked up to determine if this is a rheumatoid variant, fibromyalgia, depression, physical abuse or any of the myriad problems that cause pain
Yes. Working with a physiatrist to get to the case of your aches and pains and provide proper course of action would be helpful.
Possibly, as they can further examine you and see why these pains are present and then come up with a complete/comprehensive rehabilitation plan to assist in your recovery to treat these areas.
First of all, how old are you? How long have you had these aches and pains? What brings it on and what makes it better?
A doctor needs to see you and have a consultation and examination before making recommendations online.

Yes, because you can give a more detailed history and various modalities can be put in place. You may want to think of water therapy with a personal trainer, physio also. Even massage. You have various aches and pains. Water therapy is one of the best ways to alleviate muscle stiffness, etc., however, be sensible and check things out. It's not normal to have pain.
