Common antidepressants like SSRIs (e.g., fluoxetine) and SNRIs (e.g., venlafaxine) are safe to use during COVID-19, but consult your doctor. For more information, please contact your mental health provider or, if you are in Texas, schedule an appointment with Mid Cities Psychiatry.
More importantly, if you need an antidepressant, by all means, with doctor supervision, follow through with their instruction. Currently, Prozac, is highly recommended for individuals with depression that are about 25 years of age or less. Always take with doctor supervision.
