I like to investigate the causes of someone's reflux. With that said, I have found that deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) and aloe vera juice work well to manage symptoms when they occur. DGL can also be taken before eating to help prevent it.
There are many natural ways to address reflux. That being said, it can be complicated as you will need to discover the cause. Here are a couple of the many tips that can help. Slow down and relax when you eat. Do not eat late at night and finish eating at least 3 hours before bed. Eliminate gluten grains, sugar and highly processed food. Increase bitter foods such as arugula, mustard greens and kale. In addition, there are other lifestyle modifications you can make that can help as well as supplements to reduce symptoms and to reset your digestion, depending on the underlying cause.
Acid reflux can be caused from certain foods (spicy and acidic), stress, overeating, digestive impairments, decreased digestive enzymes and bacteria like H. Pylori. Depending on the cause and the length of occurrence, you may have success with apple cider vinegar or deglycerolized licorice. If you have an infection or an ulcer, these options are generally not going to work well. You should consult with your provider or a gastroenterologist to determine the cause.

The short answer is that you do not have enough magnesium in your diet. The reason is the as your digestive system works moving digested food through parastalic motion through the digestive system. When a muscle contracts, they need magnesium to help them to relax.
Don’t play with Cancel Cell Transformations due to acid migration up your esophagus while you sleep at night! Take OTC Omeprazole 20mg every day to protect yourself. Have your doctor do an H. Pylori breath test. If positive, you will need 3 different antibiotics to reduce H. Pylori Bacteria. (Can cause esophageal cancer if you don’t!)
