“What are some signs of heart issues in children?”
My child's school called me about this, actually, and it was about my son having issues with his breathing after exercising. He would easily be out of breath after doing most of the exercises they would do in their gym class. I'm wondering if this could be more of a heart issue, rather than asthma--which is what they're suggestion. What are some other signs of a heart issue in children?

Failure to keep up with the other children, poor growth , color changes with exercise., Most heart issues are caught on physical exam before school age. Some can be missed. However, asthma is much more common and usually occurs with exercise. Either way he needs a check up
