My son loves to run and has joined his track and field team at his school, but I want him to be really careful with running. What can he do to prevent injuries?

He should start running slowly, doing short distances, and then gradually increasing his mileage. He can minimize the chance of developing a stress fracture. Also, he should stretch before and after running. Hope this helps.
