Gastroenterologist Questions Gastritis

What can't I eat with gastritis?

I am a 34 year old male who suffers from gastritis. It is chronic, really. What can't I eat with gastritis?

Chronic gastritis usually doesn't cause pain. This a big myth in GI. For example, even chronic gastritis from H pylori infection doesn't cause symptoms in more than 75% of people who have it.

I need more information. Did you have gastritis diagnosed by upper endoscopy with biopsy or did a general doctor simply tell you that you have gastritis without proving it? Oftentimes, the latter is the case and one should not blame gastritis for pain without a proper work up.
