Stomach issue?

Hi! I have a menagerie of issues, the main one having constant nausea and vomiting issues. I've had numerous blood tests and abdominal scans, camera down the stomach, and recently had a gallbladder function test - everything is coming back normal. It is now going on 2 months, I've lost 20 pounds, my back is constantly aching, and have no strength- I'm so frustrated. My urine is dark and I am constipated. I can't be the only person in the world where this is a mystery.

Although nausea/vomiting is a GI symptom, it is often explained by a non-GI cause. Any organ system derangement can stimulate the nausea center in the brain to cause the symptoms. Just a few examples: headache, seizure-like activity, vestibular problems, pain syndromes from other organs, endocrine and electrolyte abnormalities, heart conditions, etc, etc. Your doctors may need to look beyond the GI tract to find the source of the problem.
