“what causes a hard lump on a foot?”
My 10 year old son has a hard lump on the sole of his foot.It hurts when touched or walked on. What could this be?

It could be a myriad of lesions on the bottom of the foot, depending on its location. Definitely see a foot specialist.
It could be a number of things:
1. Wart - which can for a callus around it
2. Callus
3. Plantar fibroma
You should immediately see a podiatrist for a better evaluation.
