“What causes a dry cough and swollen lymph nodes in kids?”
My 6 year old son has had swollen lymph nodes for a week and a half. He also has a dry cough, which only goes away after he takes cough syrup (but then it comes back). What could be causing this?

Has he had any fever? Are the lymph nodes tender? Has he lost any weight? Since it has been present for longer than a week, he would need to be checked and possibly have a WBC checked.
