What causes pain in your spine?

I am a 36 year old male. I have shooting pain down my spine. What could be the cause?

Pinged nerve from herniated or bulging discs.
Multiple causes: disc degeneration, arthritis of the facet joints, fractures, pinched nerves...
It can be due to muscle, disc, facet joint, or nerve root irritation. The clear majority is mechanical with spontaneous resolution. Certainly, consultation with a medical professional would be of benefit.

Good luck,

It’s usually muscle imbalance.
