I am a 45 year old male. I want to know what causes pigment behind the eye?

Nevus or melanoma
Increased melanocytes.
If it's the sclera it is melanosis or natural pigments on your eye. They get worse when exposed to sunlight. Rarely it can be associated with melanoma. See a doctor if worried.
