“What could be the cause of my son's ear infection?”
My 12 year old son was diagnosed with an ear infection. What could be the cause?

Most middle ear infections at this age is caused by bacterial in the sinus cavity that gets into the middle ear. The most common germs are strep pneumonae,
h flu,and m catarrhalis which also cause sinus infections. If it is an outer ear infection, this is from water or moisture in ear canal and needs ear drops
