"too much" can be alcohol poisoning or "too much" can indicate drunk. If the person is blacking out or going in and out of consciousness I recommend going to the ER. If someone is sleep and just drunk then you assure they are laying on their side so that if they throw up they do not risk inhaling their own vomit.
If this is an often occurrence (more than 2x a week and drinking before noon are common indications) I would speak with the physician about potential addiction.
Hi,

IF you drank "too much alcohol," it is time to cut back and stop if possible. Drinking more than 5 drinks per week and more than 3 drinks per day can affect your liver and it is important to monitor your liver health. Excessive alcohol intake above reasonable limits (defined as more than 2 drinks at a time) impairs judgment and clouds your memory and reflexes and in most states is a crime to drive under the influence. So, avoid drinking and driving or working with objects that may cause harm to yourself or others.
First of all congratulations to any one seeking help for substance abuse, it take courage to do so. You may benefit from therapy with a licensed substance abuse therapist as well as a Psychiatrist who may prescribed medication that for alcohol abuse, as well as a support group such as Alcoholic Anonymous.
It depends on how much alcohol you invested. If you are not feeling well, go to emergency room
