You may have a split ridge procedure with or without bone grafting. In some cases a sinus lift with bone grafting will work.
A few things:
1. Find a qualified dentist who is an expert on bone grafting
2. Use smaller diameter implants where there is enough bone
3. Have excellent dentures made
Also, make sure if you do get implants that they are ceramic/Zirconium. The body doe not like or want metal.
Good luck.

It depends. Sometimes you can get a bone graft, or you may need to have your teeth replaced by something removable like a denture.

Many times the bone can be augmented with different bone grafting materials you have to see your oral surgeon or dentist and ask about this

If you need more bone for a dental implant, you can have some bone grafting done if you are a proper candidate. There are many techniques available and a qualified surgeon or general dentist that places implants should be consulted.

The surgeon needs to determine if you are a candidate for a bone graft or not. In general, it can take up to 18 months to develop the site for the implants. if you are definitely not a candidate for the bone grafts, then you might have the option of having a bridge or a removable appliance.
Hope it helps.

There is a procedure called bone grafting. You will need to consult with a dental surgeon to see if you qualify as a good candidate for this procedure.
