I am a 28 year old female. I want to know what happens if you have surgery while pregnant?

Depends on what type of surgery, what stage of pregnancy you are at, and what type of anesthesia you have. Some surgeries should be avoided during pregnancy because of risks to the pregnancy and/or risks to you. You need a consultation with an obstetrician and an anesthesiologist if you are contemplating any type of surgery.
Depends upon your stage of pregnancy. You can have an abortion or premature labor.
