“What happens if you sleep on your breast implants?”
I am a 23 year old female. I want to know what happens if you sleep on your breast implants?

Hello, it depends on the length of time which has passed from the surgery as well as your own tissues (original breast size, muscle mass) as well as whether the implants were placed above or under your chest muscles. I do not recommend sleeping in the prone position (on the stomach) for at least six months following surgery. If you are a thin person, and/or have thin chest muscles or the implants were placed above the muscles, I do not recommend sleeping in the pone position at all. Nothing nearly as exciting as if someone else sleeps on your breast implants. Initially, your surgeon may want you to avoid sleeping on your breast implants for a few weeks immediately following surgery to avoid implant displacement. But sleeping on your breast implants long-term has no known negative effects. Although your chiropractor may feel differently, depending on the size of your breast implants. Discuss this with your doctors.
After a few months and tenderness goes away, you should be able to put pressure on your chest during sleep. It is similar to what discomfort a woman with full breasts will feel when she sleeps on her abdomen. Some women are never able to sleep on their abdomen with full breasts.
