What is a menopause follow up?

I'm going to have a menopause follow-up very soon. Will my doctor tell me about medication and hormone supplements? What should I know?

Menopause is a critical change in a woman’s life: short-term (quality of life) and long-term (bone health, cardiac and mental health) are issues to review and address, take preventive health measures steps. With taking into consideration the overall health and if there are no contraindications, hormone replacement and supplements may be indicated.
Do not rush for medications, not everybody needs medication for menopause. There are other behavioral methods you can use in your life.
Make sure you don’t go undiagnosed. Abnormal bleeding, any cancer dependent on hormones...

If you have no menses for one year you are menopausal your doctor will discuss changes happening to your day to day life including your sex life and bones and may offer you help
Your doctor may ask you about menopausal symptoms and ways to combat those that are troublesome, such as night sweats. The doctor do lab work, follow up on any medications including hormones and any other new medical problems.
