I am a 32 year old female. I want to know what is the main purpose of psychological testing?

Some useful and some not so useful. There are lists of things psychological testing can help. Traumatic brain Injury helps determine the degree of injury and the region that the injury has damaged. Where, there may be false results if a person is depressed, anxious, and unable to respond to the questions asked. Even in some cases, IQ scores are skewed.
