“What is the recovery for hand surgery?”
I am a 46 year old female who needs hand surgery. How do you recover when you use your hands for daily life? What is the recovery for hand surgery?

Well, it completely depends on the type of surgery you are having. There is a wide variety of potential recovery times or limitations during recovery. Please check with your surgeon to get the details!

The answer really depends upon what type of hand surgery you are having. If you are having a simple procedure such as a carpal tunnel release or a trigger finger release, the recovery is usually pretty quick and easy. However, more complicated procedures can require casting and extensive occupational therapy post-operative. You really need to ask your surgeon this question. Good luck!
