What kind of anesthesia is used for total knee replacement?

I am a 45 year old female. I want to know what kind of anesthesia is used for total knee replacement?

You can have general anesthesia (going to sleep) or spinal anesthesia (preferred). You may get a nerve block to control your pain after surgery (preferred).
We usually prefer spinal block. But geta is also an option.
