“What kind of food should I eat if I have gastritis?”
I am an 18 year old female and I have gastritis. What kind of food should I eat if I have gastritis?

There is no specific food or diet for gastritis. Treat the underlying cause of gastritis if it can be known.
Low-acid food. Check out online for low-acid food items, please. Make sure that you were tested for Helicobacter Pylori. Avoid using NSAIDS.
The usual recommendation is to avoid foods that worsen acid production in the stomach. This would include spicy foods, greasy foods or anything with caffeine.

If you have gastritis you should AVOID spicy or acidic foods. You should eat foods that are easy to digest and consider foods and teas that are soothing to the mucosa such as slippery elm gruel or slippery elm tea.

It’s more about what to avoid. Eliminate tomatoes, acidic foods, fried foods, coffee, chocolate, peppermint and lentils and alcohol. Also drink lots of water
And don’t eat at least 2-3 hours before bedtime. Try to keep your head elevated at 45 degrees when you lie down.
