“What should I expect before and after coronary angiography?”
I'm 37 years old, and female. I'm going to have a coronary angiography next week done for my heart. Is there anything that I should expect before and after the test?

Coronary angiogram is cardiac cauterization were contrast is injected through a tiny catheter that is placed in the arteries either from the groin or from the arm to access the coronaries (arteries that supply the heart). Relatively quick procedure, and ambulation is typically within couple of hours depending on the access site.
