What should your diet be when you're pregnant?

I am a 27-year-old female and I just found out that I am pregnant. What should your diet be when you're pregnant?

Hello,

So, I always tell people that we survived as a species somehow for thousands of years without a special diet. My advice would be to eat a healthy diet and eat multiple meals daily (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and snack). Due to mercury, I would recommend one serving of fish a week and no more. If you love fish, you can look up the amount of mercury in all of the different types of fish on the Internet.
I hope that this helps. Don't stress too much about it.

Warmest Regards,

High nutrient-dense foods, i.e., lots and lots of raw fruits and veggies. 60% of your food should come from these. A huge variety. Do not get in a rut eating only a handful of different types. Each has resources your body and your baby desperately need. So be generous and varied.
