“My granny fell down and now there is a black circle around her eyes. What could be the reason?”
My grandmother is 82 years old and yesterday she fell down in the bathroom. While she is okay otherwise, she has a black patch right below her eyes. What could this be? I'm not sure if this is a black eye or something entirely different.

Accumulation of blood break down also know called raccoon eyes when it happens in both eyes. It will absorb on its own
I am sorry to hear. Often times, as we age our body does not heal as fast. The bruising under the eyes may be nothing but it is good to have her seen by a Dr to do some blood tests.
