All of your post operative care instructions should/will be told to you by your surgical team in oral and written form. If you have any questions address the surgeon or their office directly. Instructions vary depending on the exact type of surgery you are having.
That really depends on the particulars of the surgery. More complicated surgical procedures that involve the removal of bone can take longer to heal. I would check with the oral surgeon or dentist that did the procedure
