I am a 38 year old female. I want to know when can you use q-tips after ear surgery?

You did not specify as to the surgery. It can be of the external ear or of the ear drum and and the ear bones. However, just be sensible and do not injure the surgery with a Q tip. You usually do not have to use Q tips period. If you do, make it 2-3 weeks after at a minimum.
