Pinhole is a conservative graft approach. Age is not usually a factor but the degree of recession. Pinhole works better in certain situations. We have done 100’s of these procedures on ages from 24-90.

A candidate for the ‘Lunchtime gum lift’ or pin hole technique should be in good general health, non smoker or vowed to quit, free from active periodontal disease and have sufficient gingiva (gum tissue) available to stretch over the recession.
