Why are there red bumps on the bottom of my tongue?

I recently discovered red bumps on the bottom of my tongue. Should I see a doctor? What could have caused this?

The red bumps under your tongue could be salivary glands. You should have a dentist examine the area to be sure that it is not an infection.
The red bumps you discovered are probably taste glands and nothing to be worried about. To be sure, consult your dentist or physician about it.

Good idea to have dentist take a look. Could be as simple as natural anatomy, but better to be safe then sorry.
