Why can I pop my ankle over and over?

I am a 22 year old male. I can pop my ankle over and over. Is it normal?

Most often it is a result from a previous injury and now has instability issues. A visit to your Chiropractor may be all you need, but may also require additional physical therapy to strengthen the joint.
Hello,

If you are able to "pop" your ankle over and over again, your ankle is probably somewhat unstable or may become unstable. I would advise not popping it repeatedly because it can make your ligaments looser than normal. I would also recommend strengthening muscle surrounding the ankle such as the calf muscles (gastronemius and soleus) as well as your foot dorsiflexors and everters such as tibial anterior and peroneus muscles. Strengthening these muscles may give your ankle joint more support.
I have no idea why you can pop your ankle over and over. Perhaps you are double jointed. Perhaps you have an abnormality. No, it’s not normal.
This is very common. You may need some nutritional support for the ligaments. A good chiropractor who focuses on nutrition should be able to help you after taking a thorough history and doing a comprehensive exam.
This can be normal, or it can be a sign of altered mechanics of the ankle due to previous injury, or simply the joints of the ankle and foot are out of alignment.
