Whenever I have an ice cold drink, my gums tingle for a while. Why do I develop gum pain after drinking cold drinks?

1 Answer

You may be experiencing generalized sensitivity to cold drinks. Sensitivity can be from gum recession and exposure of the root surface. You can try using Sensodyne or a fluoride sensitivity toothpaste to help. If the pain persists, see a dentist for further evaluation.
