I am a 36 year old male. Every time after drinking I get depressed. Why do I get depressed after drinking?

Alcohol is a known depression causing and depression perpetuating substance backed by the scientific literature. Therefore, it’s not surprising that you feel this way.
Alcohol is a depressant. Also, you may say or do things when you drink that you feel bad about.
