The bumps at the very back of the tongue are normal. They are called circumvallate papilla and are related to taste. They are in a V formation. Look them up and compare pictures to your tongue. If they look the same, you’re good but you should go to the dentist twice and year where you should be checked for cancer at each visit.
It is normal to have large, circular bumps on your tongue, those are just simply taste buds. Normally, oral cancer shows as an irritated mass or red and white on the back, sides/undersides of the tongue. Though they usually are not sore. If you are really worried about the family history, a dental exam would be the place to start.
