“Why do I have painful blisters?”
I have lupus SLE, my knees were bone on bone and I had to get knee replacement surgery. As soon as I did I broke out in very painful blisters on the same side as my surgery. In my mouth, lip elbow, back of my leg, a gigantic one on the back of my leg and on my feet. Why did this happen?

Could be herpes with your lowered resistance. Consult with a good infectious doctor.
