Knee stiffness and burning?

My knee feels stiff and keeps sloshing and popping and I have like this burning sensation in it but I haven’t hit it or fallen. It came out of nowhere all I remember doing was walking on it, it has been feeling stiff for like a little over a week so yesterday I started messing with it and now today it’s really bad.

Most likely some sort of inflammation in the knee. Patellofemoral syndrome is common in this age group and should be considered. Try anti-inflammatories such as Aleve or motrin for 14 days.

Good morning. Your symptoms are those of an inflamed joint. This can occur for many reasons. Anything from sitting to long to have early stage arthritis. It can be related to an old injury just showing itself now. Unless it is so swollen and painful you cannot walk then for now treat it symptomatically. Cut down on any activity that seems to irritate it. Ice several times a day go 15-20 min. Light compression (sleeve or ace wrap). Stretch knee lightly and perhaps Advil or Aleve regularly fo several days. If still no improvement or getting worse then have it evaluated by an Orthopedic surgeon. Good luck
